Environmental, Health & Safety Internship (2027)
About the Internship
During the Summer term, you will be placed as Environmental Health & Safety Internship at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant for approximately 12 weeks. You will be mentored by seasoned technical specialists and provided value added projects throughout this period.
Project Topics
Projects will give you hands-on experience with the technical issues that you'll face in the production environment, and they will cover the following topics:
- Safety leadership
- Environmental & Sustainability
- Total Productive Maintenance
- Process and product improvement
- Environmental regulations & policy

Selection Criteria
- Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Management, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
- Willingness and flexibility to relocate
Location of Assignment
Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the US.
