About the role
EHC is hiring temporary bilingual (Spanish/English) community outreach champions to support the RICCE (Rooted in Comunidad, Cultivating Equity) project.
Responsibilities
- Support the RICCE initiative by strengthening community resilience and promoting environmental and social justice in San Diego's urban neighborhoods through inclusive, community-led planning.
- Engage residents in conversations about RICCE and its Community Advisory Board (CAB).
- Facilitate information sharing and gather community feedback on transformative climate and equity plans.
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Passionate about social and environmental justice
- Collaborative and comfortable working with diverse populations
- Mission-oriented
Qualifications
- Experience in community engagement and outreach
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
