Environmental Health and Safety Manager II

Position Overview: Lead environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs at a manufacturing facility to ensure compliance and promote a safe workplace. Key Responsibilities: Manage site compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.Oversee permits, waste management, and air/water programs.Maintain and implement ISO systems and industrial hygiene protocols.Conduct training, audits, and risk assessments to enhance safety practices.Develop and lead the EHS team, fostering continuous improvement.Partner with plant leaders and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence and address concerns. Qualifications & Skills: Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.Experience managing compliance programs, permits, and audits.Leadership skills to develop and guide an EHS team.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to assess risks and implement effective safety measures.
