About the role
The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations. This includes conducting regular inspections, training employees on safety protocols, and maintaining records of all incidents.
Responsibilities
- Conducts regular environmental, health, and safety inspections across all company facilities.
- Develops and implements safety training programs for employees.
- Maintains accurate records of all incidents and ensures timely reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Participates in emergency response drills and maintains an emergency response plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management or a related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
