Duties
- Perform various tasks including field work in all weather conditions
- Environmental construction monitoring
- Environmental sampling
- Drilling supervision and soil classification/logging
- Use of environmental monitoring equipment
- Data tabulation and limited report preparation tasks
- Daily field documentation to ensure compliance with project plans
- Adequate data collection and transfer
- Adhere to Health and Safety Program Requirements
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Professional interest in environmental investigation and remediation
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and within a dynamic team environment
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness required
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience with ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD a plus
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
Pay and Benefits
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. The position is hourly based on a 40-hour week, with some opportunity for overtime depending on the project.
The salary range is $47,000 - $57,000 per year.
