Environmental Geologist/Engineer/Scientist

EnSafe Inc. is seeking a Staff Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist to join its Long Beach/Los Angeles, California team. As an Environmental Geologist/Engineer/Scientist you will work in a fast‑paced consulting environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and professional growth. Responsibilities

• Perform Phase I/II environmental site assessments
• Prepare work plans
• Conduct site investigation activities, including sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials
• Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists (data collection for permitting/registration, regulatory compliance evaluation, preparation of plans and reports)
• Maintain field documentation
• Assist in authoring technical reports

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Geology, Engineering, or a related science (Master’s preferred)
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships are helpful
• Professional registration or certification (e.g., GID, geotechnical, geophysics) is a plus
• Preferred credentials: EIT, PE, PG, and ability to obtain a PE/PG license in additional states
• Outstanding proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel regionally
• Occasional weekend work may be required
