Environmental Field / Project Manager

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety by following policies, processes, and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Manage day-to-day activities of field employees for planned projects to achieve objectives.
• Develop work plans and coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources with the Dispatcher.
• Perform job walks to verify safety protocols, provide training, and monitor work quality.
• Plan proactive solutions to address potential challenges or issues during projects or emergency responses.
• Diagnose and resolve problems promptly and effectively.
• Communicate with Operations Manager, Project Manager, and customers to meet contractual obligations, track project progress, and approve change orders.
• Ensure project execution stays within budget and timeline constraints.
• Manage employee performance through guidance, training, and disciplinary actions if necessary.
• Provide feedback to general management on field employee performance.
• Monitor and report work-related accidents and incidents according to company policy.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer contacts and offer additional service capabilities as needed.

Experience, Education And Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience for multiple crews in Environmental, Remediation, and/or Industrial Services.
• Valid driver’s license required. CDL license preferred.
• Driving record meeting company standards and current DMV printout required.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations preferred.
• Emergency response supervisor training preferred.
• Some preferred experience in following up on sales.
• Knowledge of CRM programs and federal and state environmental regulations.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Demands And Environmental Conditions

• Occasional pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning.
• Occasional lifting items overhead up to 50 pounds.
• Standing up to 6-8 hours daily.
• Lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Required to wear a variety of personal protection equipment.
• Perform work in all weather conditions during any hours during the day or night.

Pay

$80,000 - $110,000 per year

We have a Random Drug Testing program, and you will be subject to comply with random drug testing if selected to participate. The compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, work experience, competencies, and skills, and may fall outside of the range shown.
