Environmental Engineering Technician

About the role

We are partnering with a respected industry leader to find an Environmental Engineering Technician to support environmental compliance, surveying, construction projects, and sustainability initiatives at a large industrial facility in Southeastern Montana.

Responsibilities

• Operate drone and GPS survey equipment
• Perform surveying, mapping, and volumetric calculations
• Support air and water quality monitoring and environmental compliance
• Assist with construction management and field inspections
• Work with engineering software including AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Collaborate on projects that improve environmental performance and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Science, Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Experience or coursework in surveying, environmental science, engineering, or construction
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS survey equipment, or similar software (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Pay

$75,000 - $80,000 base salary
12% Annual Short-Term Incentive
