About the role
CDM Smith is looking for an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Intern or Co-Op to join our dynamic team of industry-leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of municipal, federal, and industrial projects. You will collaborate with a network of senior engineers, peer interns, and multi-discipline project teams to research engineering solutions, support analyses, reporting, and design. You will also assist in developing documents and presentations using tools such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software. There may be opportunities to assist with fieldwork for construction management activities, providing a full project lifecycle experience.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor’s in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- An appropriate and valid driver’s license is required.
- 20% - 40% travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some knowledge of ArcGIS, CADD, Excel, and Access (preferred but not required).
Pay
Pay range: USD $22.97 – $40.48 per hour. CDM Smith is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The final salary is determined by factors including role, function, responsibilities, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and education/training. Additional discretionary bonuses may apply.
