Responsibilities

• Create engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, pipelines, pump stations, remediation sites, solid waste facilities, etc.
• Review and sign off on completed designs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform site reviews and studies to align designs with location specifications.
• Update design requirements as necessary.
• Contribute to firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
• Submit technical papers and designs for publication in technical journals.
• Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to RFPs.
• Review and approve draft proposals for regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Meet with clients to discuss current and future design needs.
• Attend conferences and symposia to enhance firm's visibility.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
• Mentor junior staff for future growth within the discipline and firm.
• Supervise junior engineers on project work when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) software.
• Engineer principles of design.
• Microsoft business software proficiency (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.

Pay Range

Min: USD $95,846.00
Max: USD $167,731.00
