About the role

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Environmental Crew Member who will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and improvements works. You will be part of a small dynamic team and work across a variety of locations across Alpine Shire. The ideal candidate should be ready to roll up their sleeves and help maintain and create spaces that our community and visitors will love.

You must enjoy working in an outdoor environment, have a keen eye for detail, and pride yourself on delivering high-quality work by being a team player. The role involves demonstrated experience in environmental maintenance, landscaping, or similar outdoor work to ensure the highest standards of presentation to the public.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality maintenance and improvement works across Alpine Shire.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small, dynamic team.
  • Maintain and enhance public spaces to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in environmental maintenance, landscaping, or similar outdoor work.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to a positive work environment.

Pay

Band 3A: Wage commencing at $34.42 per hour (including industry allowance) + superannuation + leave loading.

Schedule

Permanent full-time position with a 9-day fortnight.
