Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Principals, Managers, Engineers, and Designers to develop clear, cohesive plan sets that effectively communicate project design intent to owners, clients, and contractors.
- Plan set development may include, but is not limited to, project setup, schematic design, hydraulic analysis, site development, and process design.
- Apply company CAD standards and industry best practices throughout plan set development to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high-quality deliverables.
- Apply and coordinate notes, legends and standard details as applicable.
- Participate in project meetings, huddles and QA/QC protocols.
- Perform routine aspects of design assignments and with frequent check-ins with senior team members for input and feedback.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated a strong understanding of the Autodesk Plant 3D and/or Civil 3D workspace.
- Intuition: Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability, recognizing that each project may present unique challenges that require thoughtful, adaptable solutions.
- Collaboration: Successfully work within a group to complete a project collectively.
- Prioritize and Pivot Effectively: Produce high quality results while balancing work on a variety of projects and priorities to support multiple project teams and deadlines.
- Communication: Quickly adapt to others using different forms of communication to easily connect and convey information via phone, text, email and/or chat.
- Active Listening: Give full attention to instructions provided, take time to understand points being made, and proactively ask questions to clarify as necessary.
