Env. Technician

About the role

We are a full-service resource for restoration, remediation, and recovery—including comprehensive hazardous materials mitigation. When disaster strikes or an environmental issue must be urgently corrected, our goal is to fully restore the property as quickly as possible with minimal disruption and the utmost safety. Within hours of notification, our emergency response teams set up approved protocols to enter contaminated areas and establish protective engineering controls to help prevent the spread of contaminants.

Responsibilities

• Hazardous material containment and clean-up
• Healthcare facility bio-hazard clean-up
• Asbestos removal/abatement
• Mold remediation
• Lead abatement
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding remediation
• Follow EPA, OSHA, and local requirements for safety and hazardous materials handling
• Participate in occasional industry training and update certifications
• Maintain fitness levels as required for the environmental industry

Requirements

• Current asbestos, lead, and mold certifications issued by a Certified State training provider as identified by OSHA
• Valid and current environmental physical enabling the individual to wear a respirator

Qualifications

Certifications may include:

• Asbestos & Lead-Based Paint
• Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) & Mold/Fungi
• EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP)
