About the role

The ENTRY PSR I / Lobby Experience Coordinator (LEC) helps with patient care by greeting patients upon arrival and addressing any questions or concerns with care and compassion. This individual maintains the integrity of the waiting area, assists with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable, and utilizes phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.

The role involves direct patient contact, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures in a safe and accurate manner. The ENTRY PSR I demonstrates excellence in customer care, focusing on process skills, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. The impact of this role is crucial to maintaining lobby integrity and ensuring high service standards for all patients.

This is primarily a Lobby Greeter position to assist patients with check-in at the kiosk and ensure their comfort while waiting. The role also includes filling in for breaks and covering staffing shortages.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-ins via self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and organized lobby environment.
  • Perform phlebotomy duties, including forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, following established practices and procedures.
  • Cover breaks and staffing shortages as needed.
  • Maintain required records and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
  • Assist patients with care and compassion while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
  • Phlebotomy experience REQUIRED, even if from an internship or externship.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience REQUIRED (e.g., retail, home health aide).
  • Keyboard and data entry experience REQUIRED.
  • Willingness to work in both the lobby and draw room to cover breaks.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
