Entry Operator- Third Shift

Under general supervision, the Machine Operator fulfills several different operator roles. Position placement is determined based on the needs of the business. Machine Operator II (Entry Operator) will be responsible for operating the entry end of the coating line.

Responsibilities

• Loading up and removing coils
• Taking coil measurements (gauge and width)
• Inspecting the condition of coils prior to sending to the line
• Following direction on the flow of material from QC Lab Tech and/or Paint Line Team Leader
• Entering coil information into Oracle
• Calculating coil length requirements
• Allocating raw coils to a production schedule
• Coordinating with other team members to maintain production quality and efficiency

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
• Preferred: 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing environment
