Entry-Level Trainer

About the role

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance. As a Trainer you'll lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many of our staff and users, and you get to shape their experience as they transition to Epic and assist them in saving lives.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, healthcare users, and Epic staff
• Participate in the training process from instructional design through development of training materials and scenarios
• Design workflow-based training content in tight-knit teams
• Work directly with organizations to help develop their training
• Get involved in projects to make Epic software more intuitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)
• History of academic and professional success
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• COVID-19 vaccination

• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience
