About the role
The Bettis Shipboard Electrical Systems (SES) RPI&C infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining and modernizing the existing RPI&C test system infrastructure at Bettis site and, in close collaboration with counterparts across the program, developing, testing, qualifying, and delivering the test infrastructure for the next generation of RPI&C systems.
Responsibilities
- Support testing and troubleshooting activities in the laboratory
- Coordinate and/or perform periodic facility tests and preventative maintenance required to support a fully capable laboratory
- Execute work packages required to maintain and modernize the lab's test systems and test articles
- Ensure work packages are performed safely and in compliance with company and Program requirements
- Manage the calibration of test equipment and inventories of parts and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a related field; or
- Journeyman's Papers in a related field; or
- Qualification as a Naval Nuclear Propulsion Operator (or commercial nuclear equivalent)

Pay
$57,500.00 - $88,000.00 annually. Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
