About the role
As a RoviSys Building Technologies employee, you will use the latest control and automation technologies to provide innovative solutions for our clients. You will design, implement, and configure building automation systems and/or write custom solutions. We support our customers onsite and from our offices located across the globe, using cutting-edge technology to improve our clients’ sustainability, profitability, efficiency, and overall success.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop building automation systems
- Design and develop electrical control systems that interface with facility and building management manufacturing equipment and sensors
- Architect custom solutions using appropriate technologies, from control databases to AI to user interface tools
- Provide clients with real-time data and actionable information about their facilities
- Develop quality control system sequences and programs in accordance with established RoviSys Building Technologies and client standards
- Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys Building Technologies, partners, and clients
- Grow into a position of leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide quality automation and information solutions
Entry-level position: College graduate with up to 2 years of experience.
Requirements
- Degree in a technical field related to engineering or systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects
- Passion for problem-solving and developing solutions
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Relevant co-op experience
- Manufacturing process knowledge or building/facility management knowledge
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS), and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) experience
- Familiarity with web development technologies
- Design and implementation of relational/document databases and historians (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo, OSIsoft, etc.)
