Entry Level Systems Engineer/Controls Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design and develop building automation systems
• Design and develop electrical control systems that will interface with facility & building management manufacturing equipment and sensors
• Architect custom solutions using the appropriate technologies from control databases to AI to User Interface tools
• Provide our clients with real-time data, and actionable information about their facilities
• Develop quality control system sequences and programs in accordance with established RoviSys Building Technologies and client standards
• Work in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys Building Technologies, partners and clients
• Grow into a position of leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide quality automation and information solutions

Qualifications

• Degree in a Technical Field, related to Engineering or Systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Pertinent Experience: Relevant Co-op experience, Manufacturing process knowledge or building/facility management knowledge, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS), and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) experience, Familiarity with web development technologies, Design and Implementation of Relational/Document Databases and Historians (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo, OSIsoft, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Base Salary: $80,000-$82,000, depending on experience
