Role Overview: An Entry Level Specimen Accessioner is responsible for preparing, routing, and shipping biological specimens in a laboratory setting. Key Responsibilities Prepare specimens for analysis and route them to designated areas Accurately identify, label, pack, and ship specimens to testing facilities Input patient information into laboratory systems with precision and promptness Resolve and document issues with specimens following departmental protocols Achieve department activity and production targets while properly storing excess samples Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly Pass standardized colorblindness tests Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Comfort handling biological specimens Compensation: $18.25/hr
