Entry Level Service Technician- Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

About the role

Bergey’s Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed automotive training or have some hands-on experience and are looking to build their careers in automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Assist with diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues under the supervision of senior technicians.
• Complete repair and maintenance work accurately and efficiently according to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and materials.
• Inspect vehicles and identify recommended maintenance or safety-related repairs.
• Notify the Service Advisor of additional repair needs or any delays in completing assigned work.
• Document all services performed and recommendations on repair orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Road test vehicles when necessary and authorized.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Automotive vocational training, technical school certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Preferred Certifications And Requirements

• Entry-level ASE certifications or willingness to obtain certifications.
• Manufacturer training coursework is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
• State inspection or emissions certification preferred but not required.

Pay

Up to $125,000/year based on experience.

Schedule

Full Time - No Sundays.
