Entry Level Security Officer

We help make your world a safer place. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Frequently provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
• Actively monitor premises and patrol a variety of locations.

Requirements

• Customer service experience (or excellent customer service skills).
• No prior experience necessary; retail, food service, or hospitality background is a plus, with training provided.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
• Physical requirements: frequent sitting, standing, and walking (may include climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain); frequent lifting/moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Fri & Sat 8a‑4p, Sun & Mon 4p‑12a; must be available every weekend.
