Entry Level Security Guard Hempstead

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Hempstead, NY. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in customer service and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Tell visitors how their visit can be accommodated
• Verify visitor credentials and ensure they are allowed entry
• Guide visitors to their destination within the facility
• Manage access control systems
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• NYS security license required

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.40 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 3pm-11pm, 40 hours weekly
