About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. The ideal candidate should have strong observation skills and be ready to work multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ace and pass an extensive screening process
• Show strong report writing skills
• Show sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Show strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Have a New York State security license

Pay

• Competitive hourly wage of $19.75

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, 40 hours weekly
• Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm, 40 hours weekly
• Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am, 40 hours weekly
• Saturday and Sunday, 7am-3pm, 16 hours weekly
• Saturday and Sunday, 3pm-11pm, 16 hours weekly
• Saturday and Sunday, 11pm-7am, 16 hours weekly
