Responsibilities
- Develop horizontal and vertical geometry and typical sections
- Roadway Design Modeling using Bentley Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Prepare plans, exhibits, cost estimates and specifications
- Identify and apply or use the standards, guidelines and principals in the AASHTO Green Book, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Highway Safety Manual, and other local and national standards
- Assist in the analysis, preparation, or modification of reports, calculations, studies, permits, and designs for projects
- Attend client meetings and assist in client contact and communications
- Field observations of roadway conditions and data collection
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or relevant field from an accredited college or university
- Any/all Of The Following Transportation design coursework/ internship:
- MicroStation or AutoCAD
- I or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Experience using MS-Word, Excel, Project
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary Range: $68,000-$85,000 (annual)
