ENTRY-LEVEL - Production Operator - Newington, NH

Georgia-Pacific Gypsum is seeking motivated and safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Operators at our Newington, NH facility. This position supports our operations team in the continuous manufacturing of wallboard products.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment such as forklifts and heavy equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud, noisy, and industrial environment
• Work in an industrial environment that is hot, humid, and noisy, with exposure to dust, grease, oil, and other chemical substances
• Work in a non-climate-controlled facility where temperatures can be extreme (high in summer, cold in winter)

Requirements

• At least 1 year of work experience

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment
• Completion of post-high school education in manufacturing or industrial fields
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• Experience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Experience operating a heavy-load forklift

Pay

Starts at $27.00/hour, with higher rates depending on experience. Night shift differential: $1.50–$2.00/hour.

Schedule

• 12-hour straight shifts (currently hiring for night shift: 6:00 PM–6:30 AM)
• Includes weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
