Entry Level Plumber

About the role

Service Champions is seeking Entry Level Plumbers to join their Livermore team. The team is made up of creative and energetic employees dedicated to providing the best customer service experience every day.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on water heaters to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Conduct minor repairs and installations.
• Review and lead setting for water heaters, water filtration, sewer laterals, and home repiping jobs.
• Perform diagnostic repair service calls in accordance with company standards.
• Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering, and gathering components and parts and performing acceptance tests.
• Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information.
• Document work performed in accordance with company procedures for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and participate in ongoing training programs to update knowledge of current plumbing and industry standards.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions.
• Committed adherence of the company’s core values and core purpose.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.

Requirements

• A thorough knowledge of residential water heater flush and plumbing inspection concepts.
• Great attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy customer service, sales, solar, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, auto mechanic, labor or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience & clean driving record.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Understanding of City Plumbing Requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The successful team member will get paid $20/hr to start a lifelong career in the trades with tremendous earning potential. There are also high-performance commission structures with no ceiling and referral bonuses.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with overtime. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.
