Entry Level Panel Tech

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and wiring control panels based on project specifications, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Support the installation of electrical components such as relays, switches, and circuit breakers in control panels following instructions from senior technicians
• Help inspect wiring and components to ensure they meet safety and quality standards
• Assist in troubleshooting issues encountered during assembly and report to senior team members
• Collaborate with engineers and experienced technicians to ensure control panels meet project requirements
• Keep track of wiring configurations and components used during assembly
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
• Help maintain tools, equipment, and work area in organized condition

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in electrical systems or control panel wiring is a plus
• No previous experience required; relevant coursework or internships in electrical systems preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring
• Eagerness to learn and follow instructions
• Ability to use hand tools and electrical testing instruments
• Familiarity with electrical safety protocols and guidelines
• Must be able to lift moderate objects and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail, following instructions carefully, and focus on precision
• Strong willingness to collaborate and communicate effectively with others in a team environment
