Entry Level Model Based Systems Engineer/Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an Entry Level Model Based Systems Engineer/Analyst to support multiple Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) projects for U.S. Army customers. The position involves using MBSE tools and techniques for requirements development, system design, and use case development. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining system models, implementing system architectures, supporting system integration testing, and analyzing integration results.

Responsibilities

• Supports requirements development, system design, and use case development for MBSE projects
• Develops, maintains, and assesses models using UAFML, SysML, and UPDM
• Develops system models and data architectures to facilitate interoperability
• Implements and manages system architectures in the MBSE environment
• Supports development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios
• Performs analysis of integration results to assess system impacts
• Utilizes strong written, communication, and presentation skills
• Works effectively in a team environment
• Participates in trade studies to support design solution selection
• Reviews system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs
• Conducts project/program technical risk analysis and mitigation
• Analyzes and evaluates systems using MBSE artifacts
• Develops, updates, and reviews system requirements, specifications, and technical documentation

Requirements

• ABET accredited engineering degree or BS in a technical field
• 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Ability to travel

Qualifications

• Strong written, communication, and presentation skills
• Effective teamwork and collaboration
• Experience with MBSE tools and techniques
• Knowledge of Unified Architecture Framework Modeling Language (UAFML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), and Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM)
• Experience with data architectures and data models
• Experience with system integration testing and analysis
