Entry Level Mechanical Engineer - Spokane, WA

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of mechanical system design, modeling, and documentation
• Gain proficiency in using Revit and AutoCAD as design and drafting tools
• Read and interpret plans to provide task-based support for engineering distribution, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Energy Modeling
• Complete assigned work under the guidance of project team members
• Aid in construction administration
• Perform mechanical calculations and simulations
• Design the layout of mechanical systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering for the relevant discipline
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification or the ability to obtain it
• Internship experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in engineering
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of building codes and industry standards

Skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Understanding of mechanical systems and building codes
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Benefits

• Hiring Base Salary Range: $66,700 - $80,600 annually
• Time and a half overtime pay
