About the role

Walker White Mechanical, a trusted leader in HVAC, plumbing, and sheet metal fabrication in the Greater Columbia, SC area, is accepting applications for its 2026 Entry‑Level Apprenticeship Program. This four‑year paid apprenticeship provides hands‑on, classroom, and on‑the‑job training in Sheet Metal, Plumbing, HVAC, and/or Pipefitting, setting you up for a long‑term, rewarding career in the skilled trades.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen and experienced professionals on HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, and sheet metal projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and materials
• Follow all job‑site safety standards and protocols
• Build the technical, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills needed for a successful career over the next four years

Requirements

• High school seniors or recent graduates (we’ll work around your graduation schedule)
• Individuals with little or no experience—we provide all training
