Essential duties and responsibilities
- Assist in training, motivating, and communicating with store staff
- Promote professional and personalized donor and customer relations
- Organize and maintain sales floor and displays
- Aid in meeting and exceeding budgeted sales and margin goals
- Delegate essential tasks
- Lead by example to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Michigan drivers license
- 1 year of general retail experience
- Ability to work full time; availability for all shifts and extra shifts as needed
- Knowledge of using cash register and adherence to Goodwill policies and procedures
- Strong management skills
- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without assistance
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as reaching, bending, and stooping
- Capable of standing for six to eight hours per day
- Quick problem-solving abilities
- Pleasant, cheerful, and professional demeanor
- Access to a telephone
