Essential duties and responsibilities
- Supervise and train store staff.
- Open and close the store according to policy and as directed.
- Aid with procedures related to the cash registers, returns, and cash handling.
- Deliver good customer service.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Handle customer concerns/complaints appropriately.
- Stock and return merchandise per company directive.
- Ensure that all merchandise is displayed appropriately.
- Maintain the overall appearance of the store, directing staff as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to use cash register and follow Goodwill policy and procedures.
- Full-time availability; all shift availability and extra shifts as necessary.
- Able to lift and carry 35 pounds with or without help.
- Able to reach, bend, or stoop.
- Able to stand for six to eight hours a day.
- Valid Michigan Drivers License required.
- Ability to push, pull, and operate a pallet jack.
- Must have telephone access.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Pleasant, cheerful, and professional demeanor.

The position offers a starting hourly wage of $17.00 plus a 20% discount on in-store purchases, along with potential monthly bonuses and career advancement opportunities.
