Entry Level - Machine Operator

About the Role

This role supports Bruderer stamping machines to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output. It is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in manufacturing and gain experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of the production line to ensure efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process.
• Monitor production equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly; report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Conduct limited in-process quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area, following all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of production output and material heat numbers; must have legible handwriting.
• Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Work effectively and communicate openly with colleagues to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Adapt to changing production demands and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn and acquire new skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic technical skills, including understanding of basic math and familiarity with hand tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Capability to work collaboratively with others and follow directions from experienced colleagues.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills; ability to ask questions for clarification.
• Willingness to adapt to new tasks and changes within the work environment.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a manufacturing environment. Hearing protection is required in the stamping production area. Pay

$16 - $20 per hour.
