Entry Level Laboratory Data Review

About the role

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is looking for an Associate Scientist, Data Review to join our Quality Assurance team in Columbia, Missouri. This entry-level position involves day-to-day activities in a laboratory setting under prescribed processes (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Review scientific reports under cGMP guidelines to ensure regulatory requirements have been met, the data is whole and accurate, and the report is of high quality
• Assist with internal audits
• Work closely with lab operations staff on a day-to-day basis
• Hold authority and responsibility for final report sign-off
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field with comparable coursework
• Experience in a laboratory setting or GMP pharmaceutical setting
• Good organizational skills; ability to follow direction and communicate effectively
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Ability to work in the US indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Schedule

Full-time, first shift, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm. This position is not remote. Up to 25% travel may be required. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply; no relocation assistance will be provided.
