About the role
Responsible for managing and optimizing healthcare revenue cycle processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient accounts receivable, including insurance verification, claims submission, and follow-up on denials.
- Collaborate with medical staff to improve coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce bad debt and increase cash flow.
- Monitor performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in revenue cycle software and tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with revenue cycle operations in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
