Entry Level Environmental Technician- Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

Entry‑level technician position supporting the testing of cutting‑edge communications electronic systems in the Environmental Test Lab for the Operations Test organization. This role is hands‑on electronics testing and is not an engineering position.

Responsibilities

• Set up environmental chambers and test‑stand equipment to run temperature tests on subassemblies and systems.
• Set up vibration tables and controllers to run vibration tests on subassemblies and systems.
• Follow test procedures to operate computer‑based test equipment.
• Record and update work order status using a computer.
• Document test failures using a computer.
• View technical drawings and test procedures on a computer.
• Move test equipment between areas as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in testing.
• Ability to review and update Excel spreadsheets with strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Preferred qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics (Electronic Technician).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

Full‑time salary range: $51,941 – $83,107. Salary is determined by market structures, business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
