Responsibilities
- Perform general construction labor tasks on residential job sites, including site preparation, material handling, and clean-up
- Assist with excavation activities, trenching, and backfilling under the guidance of experienced crew members
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Load and unload materials and equipment as required
- Support equipment operators and foremen in day-to-day site activities
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to complete tasks efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Take direction and training with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must have the ability to get chauffeur's license (not required at start)
Requirements
- 1 year of construction experience preferred, especially with excavation, but not required—willing to train the right candidates!
- Interest in or experience with excavation work is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to take direction and work safely at all times
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Pay
$20 - $30 per hour, plus year-end bonus
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday (50-60 hours per week)
- Overtime may be available as needed
Work Location
Onsite / Various residential construction sites (regional travel may be required)
