Responsibilities
- Aid in the design of water and wastewater treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater systems.
- Perform basic hydraulic and hydrologic calculations.
- Support CAD drafting and plan preparation.
- Conduct field visits and assist in site assessments, inspections, and data collection.
- Help prepare technical reports and project documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers on environmental permitting and regulatory compliance tasks.
Education/Experience
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering (Junior or Senior standing preferred).
- Strong interest in water resources and environmental infrastructure.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS or similar software.
- Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, hydrology, and stormwater systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally at all times.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
