THE ROLE
As an entry-level Civil Engineer in our Transportation group, you will support the design of highway and bridge projects for DOT clients. Working under a Professional Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience with roadway design, including plan development and construction documentation, while building the technical foundation needed to progress toward your PE license.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with roadway and transportation design for highway and bridge projects.
- Support plan production, including drawings, modeling, and design calculations.
- Aid in quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Prepare construction documents and plan sets.
- Contribute to problem-solving with guidance from licensed engineers.
- Support project teams through the coordination and completion of assigned tasks.
- Aid in construction administration activities, including RFIs and submittals.
- Participate in field observations and site visits as needed.
- Develop technical skills and apply engineering principles to real-world projects.
