Entry Level Civil Engineer

About the role

Donovan-Hill Group, Inc. is hiring an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our growing team of professionals in our Panama City, FL office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, implementation and analysis of civil engineering solutions.
• Perform engineering evaluations, design, and cost estimation related to projects awarded to Donovan-Hill Group.
• Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and support staff.
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, etc. under the direction of direct supervisor as requested by management.
• Show strong desire to network and build lasting client relationships.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (From an ABET accredited engineering program)
• 0-2 years of experience in the field or related area
• Ability to obtain a State of Florida Engineering license (Either passed FE Exam or plan on taking exam).

Qualifications

• Fundamental engineering skills in coastal design and resilient shoreline infrastructure.
• Fundamental engineering skills in stormwater, drainage, collection, and conveyance.
• Fundamental engineering skills in water supply distribution systems.
• Basic understanding of permitting with jurisdictional agencies to determine federal, state, and local requirements and the ability to assist in preparation of permit applications and supporting documentation.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
