About the role

Basin Engineering & Surveying is a growing civil engineering and land surveying firm dedicated to technical excellence, collaboration, and community service. We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer for our Birmingham office.

Responsibilities

• Aid in civil site design and infrastructure planning for public and private projects
• Support project engineers with plan preparation, calculations, and technical documentation
• Participate in field visits and site evaluations to connect design with real-world conditions
• Prepare permit applications, reports, and construction documents
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in site development, infrastructure, and community-focused projects
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow professionally
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
