Entry-Level Chemistry Lab Technician

We are hiring for a Chemistry Lab Technician in the pharmaceutical industry in the Columbus, Ohio area. This is a long‑term career opportunity for someone looking to grow in the sciences. The role focuses on performing quality control laboratory testing on generic pharmaceutical products and is a permanent, fully onsite position located in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation, wet chemistry, standard weighing, and dilutions.
• Operate High‑Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) instruments.
• Conduct testing on oral dose solids and nasal pharmaceutical products.
• Carry out highly regulated documentation activities.
• Perform other laboratory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a science field with strong chemistry coursework.

Skills

• Sample preparation and wet chemistry techniques.
• Standard weighing and dilution procedures.
• HPLC and GC operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of regulated documentation and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $24.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will be based on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job‑related factors.
