Entry Level Cabinet Installation Technician
About the role
Kitchen Tune-Up Tucson/Marana is seeking an Entry level Cabinet Installation Technician to join our team. We offer kitchen remodeling and cabinetry updates across Tucson and the surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Restore wood cabinets in the home
- Paint cabinet doors and boxes
- Redoor and reface cabinets
- Install new custom cabinets
- Follow instructions given by project manager
- Communicate with project manager daily about progress
- Able to keep track of tools and keep your job place organized
- Able to work quickly and efficiently
Requirements
- Performance pay
- Must be able to match colors (cannot be color blind)
- Able to drill for hinges
- Use of saws, power tools, paint sprayers, etc.
- Able to install doors and drawer fronts
- Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets
- Willing to learn and be trainable
- Able to follow directions without deviating
Qualifications
- Stellar work ethic
- Able to work well in a team atmosphere
- Ability to properly cut and install crown molding
- Prior experience in cabinet refacing
- Prior experience in painting cabinets using HPLV systems
- Prior experience in wood restoration
Skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
