Entry Level Building Performance Specialist, Regenerative Design - Seattle, WA

Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of mechanical system design, modeling, and documentation
- Gain proficiency in using Revit and AutoCAD as design and drafting tools
- Support building performance analysis, greenhouse gas analysis, renewable energy systems, district planning, engineering distribution, HVAC and plumbing
- Understand drawings, specifications, building codes, and mechanical industry standards
- Complete assigned work under project team guidance
- Aid in construction administration
- Perform mechanical calculations and simulations
- Design layout of mechanical systems
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification or ability to obtain
- Internship experience preferred
- Experience with Revit/AutoCAD, TRACE, IES
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Passionate about results and results-driven
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with building performance analysis, greenhouse gas analysis, renewable energy systems, district planning, engineering distribution, HVAC and plumbing
- Understanding of drawings, specifications, building codes, and mechanical industry standards
- Ability to perform mechanical calculations and simulations
- Experience designing layout of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of construction administration processes

Benefits
- Hiring Base Salary Range: $77,400 - $87,400 annually
- Time and a half overtime pay eligibility
