Description Hoyle Tanner has an opening for an Entry Level Bridge Engineer in our Ground Transportation Division. You Will Work on bridge design projects within an assigned teamComplete assignments with direction from the Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager or Project ManagerPerform design calculations and related tasksWork as part of an integrated, multi-discipline team to solve technical challengesUse software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other tools to develop designs and organize workGather, research and maintain engineering records including tests, drawings and field dataAttend bridge inspections, site visits and meetings with clients and contractors for projects under constructionMay be responsible for construction observation and limited administrationRead and understand technical drawings and specificationsDemonstrate strong writing and communication skillsIncrease knowledge through continuous learning within and outside the organization including pursuit of an advanced engineering degree and/or certification Requirements BS in Civil Engineering (ME preferred)EIT/EI preferred, or ability to obtain0-2 years of relevant experienceExperience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plusSalary is contingent on experience Hoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
