Entry Level Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with inspections, diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks and brake inspections
• Read, understand and perform requested services as outlined in repair orders.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Keep records of all repairs and services performed
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Work toward certifications and training through Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram's technician development programs.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical knowledge or vocational training (preferred, but not required)
• Knowledge of automotive technology and repair methods
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in a fast paced and physically demanding work environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
• Must have a valid driver's license

Pay

The selected candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate within the range of $16 - $25 per hour, paid semimonthly.
