Core Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, replenishing vehicle fluids, replacing batteries, filters, wiper blades, etc.
- Rotate, mount and balance tires according to vehicle specifications and ensure proper inflation.
- Complete multi-point inspections, taking detailed notes of vehicle condition and recommended maintenance for the Service Advisor to communicate to the customer.
- Perform work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership processes.
- Ensure repairs covered under warranty are completed to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe workstation.
Desired Qualifications And Experience
- Training from an automotive technology program or hands-on experience working at dealership or independent shop.
- Experience performing routine vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, fluid exchanges and tire rotations.
- ASE and/or factory certifications preferred.
- Desire to learn and strengthen mechanical proficiencies.
- Detail-oriented, thorough and methodical.
- Basic computer skills.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
