About the Role
We have an immediate opening for an entry-level attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney interested in developing a practice in municipal law and code enforcement. The position is non-partnership-track and requires travel to client offices and courts throughout California.
Responsibilities
- Handle code enforcement matters for municipal clients, including case preparation, legal research, and drafting pleadings and motions
- Appear in court on behalf of clients
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Work collaboratively with experienced attorneys
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Sound judgment and a desire to build a career serving public agency clients
- Based in our Irvine, Ontario, Riverside, or Los Angeles office
Prior experience or internships in public safety matters or civil and criminal prosecution is helpful but not required.
Pay
The reasonably expected pay scale for an attorney with 1-5 years of experience is $90,000 - $125,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.
