Entry-Level Accounting Associate

Our client in Gloucester County, NJ is seeking Entry Level Accounting Associates to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis, with conversion to full-time at a salary of $50,000–$55,000. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Accounting or Finance graduates to launch their careers and gain hands-on experience in a corporate accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting team with daily accounting operations and month-end close activities
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Process payments, post financial transactions, and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with maintaining accurate and organized financial records
• Analyze and verify financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with internal departments to support accounting and reporting functions
• Work in a structured environment with clear responsibilities and opportunities for growth
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while meeting deadlines

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or Finance required
• Previous internship or prior experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or a junior accounting role is a plus
• 0–1+ years of experience desired
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Pay

$50,000–$55,000 (full-time salary after contract-to-hire conversion)
